Guards at the ready!

 It’s fun to see the other side of the world.  Courtney wanted to have lunch with a friend from Augustana that live up in Lake Bluff.  The rub is that she doesn’t like to drive on the highways, so I jumped at the chance to get a couple of hours wandering a place I don’t often go.  Fresh fields can be good for the soul.

I stand still or move slowly, feeling things like the impulse of shapes, the direction of lines, the quality of surfaces.
