Lucas was doing his best to show patience waiting for the tour of the Tree Hotel to begin. Patience is also key to making great portraits, the photograph becomes much more than a headshot.⁠

 I can’t believe that the summer is now, for sure, over…  how quickly it passed.  One last memory. I love the light of the late summer sunset.  Reminds me of the coloring in the Hudson River School paintings.  A blasted tree would complete the comparison but I don’t think the school would appreciate my adjustment…

 Nothing like guarding empty seats.  I hope he found the show entertaining.  At the Lucas Oil Stadium for the championship competition of Drum Corps International.
