The light was gorgeous in the historic city of Gammelstad, Sweden. We were there in the middle of June a few years ago, and the days were incredibly long. At that latitude, I was able to do an available light portrait at about 10 pm at a decent ISO since the sun barely disappeared below the horizon.

I stand still or move slowly, feeling things like the impulse of shapes, the direction of lines, the quality of surfaces.
