LaPort Baskeet
We had an opportunity to travel to LaPorte, Indiana, to see the Long Island Lutheran high school basketball team from New York play in a tournament. This was the school that Elise went to for her early grades, and her father was the Headmaster and, more importantly, Basketball Coach. The tournament was held at The… Continue reading

I photographed this image using my Canon R5 with a manual focus Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AIS lens shot at 1.2. I… Continue reading

Pilgrimage
Our heavy metal Swede has left, but not before taking a fantastic trip from Orland to Gary then on to the Chicago. First was a visit to Michael Jackson’s family home in Gary then on to more music and trying his hand at some expensive guitars at Chicago Music Exchange and then on to find… Continue reading

I stand still or move slowly, feeling things like the impulse of shapes, the direction of lines, the quality of surfaces. I frame with my eye (sometimes with my hands) as the ground glass would frame. Nothing that one could reasonably call thinking is taking place at this stage. The condition is total absorption; the decision (a picture!) is spontaneous. – Aaron Siskind, 1955
