Fun with the Old

 My brother-in-law, Jon, was in town a few weeks ago, and I asked if he would sit for a portrait with my big camera.  He, honestly, didn’t have a choice if he wanted to get to the airport on time…  I’m having fun with the slower pace that the large format requires to produce an image. I stand still or move slowly, feeling things like the impulse of shapes, the direction of lines, the quality of surfaces.
